The Prelature of Batanes mourns the death of Rev. Fr. Joseph “Joey” B. Elago, Parish Priest of San Jose, Ivana, Batanes. He passed away at around 9:10 on the evening of September 5 at San Juan De Dios Hospital, Pasay City. Please pray for the eternal repose of his soul.

Rev. Fr. Joey has reached the SSS Scholasticate Formation before he was disapproved by the Council to continue his formation in the Congregation. He sought incardination to the Prelature of Batanes which accepted him as one of its clergy members.

It’s sad to know that his ministerial services was a short-lived one.
