We are happy to announce that we have successfully carried out and celebrated the task inherent to the Province of Our Lady of the Assumption, the annual gathering, meeting, prayer and decision making body called Amplified Provincial Council this year 2016. This was held at the Provincialate House, the seat of the Provincial government of POLA Province, here in the Philippines, last October 18-21, 2016. This was participated in by the Pastors and Superiors plus the members of the Provincial Council and there 26 of them in the official list. However, out of 26 member, 3 were not able to make it for some valid reasons.

The APC is second to the Amplified Provincial Chapter decision-making body of the province. There are items that the ordinary or regular council cannot decide on that is why, it needs to wait the APC in order to come up with a decision.

Nonetheless, it is still the provincial superior who convokes, opens and closes and the council members of the council are the ones moderating the conduct of the said gathering. Anything that may have transpired in the APC serves as a mandate to the council to execute or implement.

It is normal to say that there are great things that had happened in the APC, therefore it is also normal that we can expect more developments to come for the whole province in the coming days as a result of this recently concluded annual gathering of Pastors and Superiors of the POLA.
