CONGRATULATIONS TO THE NEW POLA COUNCIL!

Every four years, each and every Province of the Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament celebrates its Chapter. The Chapter is the gathering of perpetually professed religious chosen or elected by each community to become the delegate to the Chapter. Once in the Chapter, these religious are called “capitulars” who participate in the deliberation, discussion and decision-making on different and varied issues confronting the Province. Among the highlights in the Chapter are the following: the approval of the New Vision-Mission of the Province; the election of the New Provincial Superior and his Council; the presence of the General Superior and one General Council member and last but not the least the celebration of the presence of each religious representing the whole province.
In the course of the Chapter, the elections of the New Provincial Superior and the council members have taken place on October 24, 2018. In this Chapter, twenty-six capitulars have gathered for this momentous and very important occasion in the life of the Province not only because they were the ones who elected the New Provincial Superior and his Council but also the very people who have set the direction of the province for the next four years. The following is the composition of the 2018-2022 Provincial Council of the Province of Our Lady of the Assumption: Rev. Fr. ROEL LOPEZ DELA CRUZ, SSS – Provincial Superior; Rev. Fr. RUDSEND PANSACULA PARAGAS, SSS – First Consultor and Vicar Provincial; Rev. Fr. REYNALDO RAYO CAPILI, SSS – Second Consultor; Rev. Fr. APOLINARIO LOZADA TY, SSS – Third Consultor; Rev. VICTOR BINZA DIOLATA, JR., SSS – Fourth Consultor; Rev. Fr. ALDE URBANIJA BURERORS, SSS – Fifth Consultor and Provincial Treasurer. Godspeed Brothers!
