With the success of their mission at Sta. Cruz Parish and desirous of spreading their Eucharistic mission farther into the country, the Sacramentinos decided to accept the invitation of the late Archbishop of Davao Clovis Thibault, PME, to take over the administration of now 56-year old Assumption Parish on July 2, 1972. Fr. Joseph Roy was installed as its first Sacramentino parish priest. The Davao Community is also hosting the Congregation’s Postulancy Program. (This is the first stage in the initial formation of candidates to SSS religious life.)
