From being regarded as a “satellite community” of the Provincialate Community, the Lasallian Center was canonically erected as a local community on May 13, 2011 with the permission from Rome. The first local community superior was Fr. Froilan Briones. Fr Dante Funelas is the current local superior .  There is a religious assigned to each of the following four Lasallian institutions, namely, De la Salle Univesity, College of St. Benilde – Taft Avenue Campus; College of St Benilde – Angelo King International Center Campus (AKIC), Arellano St. Corner Estrada St.; and College of St. Benilde – School of Design and Arts (SDA) Campus, P. Ocampo St., Manila.
